Complete Stop Driver Training wants to keep older drivers behind-the-wheel as long as they can drive safely. Age should never be mistaken as the sole indicator of driving ability. In fact, drivers over 55 represent a wide range of abilities. However, skills necessary for safe driving, such as vision, reflexes, flexibility, and hearing begin to deteriorate around age 55 with an even greater loss after 75. Aging drivers can adjust their driving habits to cope safely with this decline, but to do this they must recognize their limitations and unsafe practices and be aware of remedial actions. Creating this awareness is the purpose of the Senior Re-evaluation Drive.

• Please bring the original (not a photocopy) vehicle registration and current proof of insurance to the evaluation drive.

Elements

• Each drive lasts approximately 30-45 minutes
• A certified instructor will evaluate your driving ability
• Skill analysis offered
• Alternative methods of traffic management suggested
• New vehicle technology & safety features discussed
• Certificate available upon satisfactory completion
• Payment Plan-Cash, Check, Visa, or Mastercard are accepted. Payment in full is due prior to scheduling of behind-the-wheel instruction. A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.
• Refund Policy-Full refund is given for lessons that are cancelled 48 hours in advance. There is no refund for failed appointments.
